Aqua Blasting/Vapor Blasting
Aqua blasting also known as Vapor blasting, is a wet blasting process that uses fine glass media suspended in a high pressure water system.
Unlike shot blasting the aqua blasting process is non aggressive.
Where a fine finish is required on aluminium, alloys, steel and most other metals, Aqua blasting is the ideal solution for gently bringing parts and components back to “As New Condition”
Aqua blasting is perfect for a wide range of both Bike and Car components - Engine and Gearbox Casings, Cylinder Heads, Blocks, Carb’s, Crank Cases, motorcycle wheel hubs, Barrels, Brackets, Side Covers, or any parts that require a more delicate process compared to shot blasting or dry sand blasting.
The Aqua blasting process is suitable for Aluminum, Bronze, Magnesium, Titanium, Brass, Copper etc. It will gently clean the surface without damage to gasket faces and other critical areas. It produces a satin finish which will handle without picking up finger marks and gently peens the surface so can help reduce porosity in castings and is much easier to keep clean compared to standard dry blasting .
Aqua/Vapor Blasting is both highly effective and gentle at the same time - The process cleans very effectively without removing any of the underlying metal or substrate. This allows for the cleaning of delicate parts and soft metals.
Aqua blasted parts can be left untreated after blasting or can be used as a great preparation for further top coatings.

Sand/Grit Blasting
Sand Blasting or Grit Blasting is a process by which a dry abrasive grit is "blasted" at high pressure on to a surface of a material to remove rust and other contaminants.
It is a very good way of preparing the surface of a material ready for other top coats such as paint or powder coating because it creates an ideal surface for the paint to bond with more easily.
It can be used for removing old paint on many materials.
It can be used on most materials such as metal, wood, stone and brick.
Various types and grades of abrasive grits can be used depending on the material and desired finish wanted.
